I like that my baby can easily grab it, I can wear it if I need to, and the balls are big enough that It’s not a choking hazard. Someone thought it was decoration when it was sitting on the kitchen table, which is an added perk.

The balls are very large and do not pose a choking hazard. if you hold one ball and shake the toy it makes a beautiful rattle noise when the wood balls beat against each other. most over six months old should be able to independently hold this.

This grasping toy (not a rattle as described) is really versatile. I’m torn because the rainbow colored version is really more engaging, but this is so sweet and natural. It’s fun even for older children to manipulate the wooden balls.
